Reclaimed wood on the walls and ceilings forms the architectural foundation of the interior. Its distinctive texture is combined with linen and cotton fabrics, soft textures and muted colours. The result is a calm and balanced composition that embraces the Alpine character of the house without feeling rustic.

In the living area, the fireplace forms a natural focal point. Opening the space up to the roof structure enhances the generous proportions of the room and turns the traditional timber construction into a defining element of the interior architecture.

A distinctive accent is provided by the coffee table, crafted from a single piece of kauri wood. Originating from New Zealand and more than 50,000 years old, the wood brings a unique piece of natural history into the interior through its individual grain and character.
